PAGI !!! SATRIA ESQ! GO GO GO!!! SATRIA ESQ! FIGHT FIGHT FIGHT !!! SATRIA ESQ! WIN WIN WIN !!! is the yell of ESQ that is always shouted by all participants with strong spirit. From the beginning, all the participants were asked to open their heart and their mind as an empty glass. This ESQ method reminded us to not forget that Islam (Al-Qur'an and hadis) has explained it directly and indirectly.

It is known to mankind that IQ (intellectual quotient) is a necessary tool, but EQ (emotional quotient) and SQ (spiritual quotient) are equally (if not more) important. These three will create knowledge, skill and attitide. IQ alone is insufficient to ensure success. It still needs EQ and SQ to be completed. Moreover, especially Indonesians are the biggest moslem population in the world.
The training is focused on personal development through the integration of the IQ, EQ and SQ, but pays special attention to the EQ and SQ. The integration of these values would contribute to increase and improvement of individual performance that would then lead to increase in productivity of the company or organization. ESQ is located at Menara 165, Jl. T.B. Simatupang, Kav. 1, Jakarta Selatan. ESQ has 165 number as its symbol which means a symbol of a heart ( one heart to God, six moral principles, and 5 steps to be success) or for moslem that called (Allah, 6 pillars of faith, and 5 pillars of Islam). Last friday until sunday, 9 - 11 July 2011, for december edition, me and my friend (Alin) joined the 107th of ESQ Character Building Personal Transformation, Executive Class. It was attended by 250 people including some high-up people from the government, not only from Indonesia but also from Malaysia. Malaysian Defence Minister, Dato Ahmad Zahid Hamidi, his wife, and three of his children joined the ESQ training for 3 days.
This ESQ training brought us to the situation to contemplate the greatness of Allah through His creations, such as the earth, the sun, and the galaxies. Do we really forget that we are nothing to be compared with His creations? moreover to be compared with Allah? is it reasonable to be so arrogant in front of Allah?
This ESQ training warned us about parent's love and role that is connected with Allah's love to us. Do we forget our parent's big love? Do we forget that Allah always be with us and gives us His grace and His fortune to us?
We were reminded again that we are just His little creation whom has 99 Asmaul Husna. Nabi Muhammad's loyalty, do we remember to pray and sholawat to him? do we remember to read the Qur'an? We were reminded that everything won't be everlasting, etc.
For me, this ESQ training was very meaningful for my daily life and I realized that I have been long wasting my time to many useless things, I seldom pray in khusu' situation, I often judge my friends, my family, even my parents as bad people. Honestly, the ESQ training really touched my heart (the deepest of my heart) to be much better. Alhamdulillah. After that, I just hope Allah always show me to the straight way. Amin.
For me, this ESQ training was very meaningful for my daily life and I realized that I have been long wasting my time to many useless things, I seldom pray in khusu' situation, I often judge my friends, my family, even my parents as bad people.
